Born and raised in the bustling streets and ancient echoes of Amman, He has drawn inspiration from the city's vibrant musical tapestry, Nayoo aka 8ight is a Music Producer, Songwriter, and Founder of Khawa 962 and Co-Founder of Zee7 Hip-Hop Collective in Amman.

Nayoo's music is a reflection of Amman's urban soundscapes, where synthesizers blend with Middle Eastern melodies to create hypnotic tracks that bridge the gap between tradition and innovation.

Inspired by Amman street energy, His music merges electronic beats with Levant folk music. His hypnotic tracks bridge tradition and grittiness, blending with other genres like Hip-Hop, Techno, House, and Jungle. Rooted in the rhythms of Sham and echoing the timeless Mijwiz melodies and its double barrel, his soundscapes capture the heart of growing as a kid in a Levantine culture, at least for him, by deconstructing the raw sounds and social narratives of his life in Amman’s cosmopolitan neighborhoods, Nayoo presents a powerful new voice in the region’s music scene, perhaps redefining what it means to live and create through Al Khawa.

Nayoo grew up with a distinctive style of folk music that is indigenous to the Levant region of the Middle East, particularly in countries like Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. The term "Mijwiz" is also used to refer to the specific double-reeded musical instrument associated with this genre.

Currently based in Berlin and a resident DJ with Paris based radio station Flouka, where he's working on taking his sound to the next stage, his music is travelling across the globe and has been heard on festivals like Dekmantel, Sonar, and Glastonbury by aritsts like: VTSS, Deena AbdelWahed, DJ Plead, Dar Disku, Discostan and many more perform his original music across the World, presenting the Sham sounds and experience to the world, his music has been featured as well on Radio stations like NTS and Rinse FM and others worldwide.
